Onlinetradeexpo.com and Online Trade Expo both are considered as one and the same legal person and are mentioned as OTE all through this Privacy Policy Statement.
On OTE your secure trading experience is of utmost importance.
All our coding and database are encrypted and on secure servers using the latest in security measures.
All members of the site are screened through the credentials/verification process the same way a major trade show screens attendees and exhibitors to assure they are legitimate and licensed to do business within an industry. This by itself is not a guarantee against fraudulent action by members, but OTE will adhere to a strict, err to the side of caution, approach to any suspicious activities by members on the site.
- Suspicious activity by any member in regard to transactions with OTE or any other member, buyer or seller will result in the suspension of membership and access to the site until the circumstances have been reviewed. This includes fraudulent communications with other members, harassing activities or communications, listing of illegal or counterfeit products, intellectual property infringement, forwarding fake credentials or information of any kind, or any other activity that may be construed as in conflict with the policies and regulations of this site and fair and honest business practice.
- OTE does not handle any payment transactions through the site other than collecting fees for membership subscription and advertising services. Transactions between sellers and buyers are handled individually through a company's normal procedures. Buyers using OTE may only submit a Purchase Order to initiate a transaction. It is the responsibility of the seller to use normal due diligence in establishing accounts, payment criteria and finalizing transactions through their established channels.
- OTE does not accept any responsibility for transaction payment or fulfillment of orders between trading partners. These are solely the responsibility of trading partners and their trading relationship. Please use the same cautions you would with any buyer/seller transactions you would complete anywhere.
- Because OTE is a verified member only site, the majority of site content is only visible and accessible to our members. It is up to you as a member to protect your passwords and access to the site from unauthorized parties.
- Use utmost caution especially if accessing the site from a public computer. Be sure to log off (wait till you see the logoff successful page) when there is potential of another person using the computer after you.
- It is a good idea to change your password regularly.
